Mr. Christopher J. Pacitto, P.E. is Velocity Engineering Services, LLC’s Founder & President. In 1998, after graduating from Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) in Worcester, Massachusetts with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering, he moved to southwest Florida where he has been practicing engineering ever since. He started his engineering career with ASC Geosciences, Inc. where he received numerous promotions and advanced quickly to the position of Project Manager. In 2004, he joined GFA International, Inc. as the Branch Manager of their Fort Myers office. In 2008 Mr. Pacitto was named to GFA’s executive management team and in 2012 he was named a Vice President of the corporation. His entrepreneurial spirit drove him to launch Velocity Engineering Services, LLC In July 2013.
Mr. Pacitto earned his Professional Engineer’s license in Florida in 2003 and is now also licensed in Louisiana, Alabama, Mississippi, and Texas. In 2011, Mr. Pacitto was honored as a “40 under 40” award winner by the Gulf Coast Business Review. He earned his Florida Water Well Contractor’s license in 2021 and his Florida Special Inspector license in 2022. Mr. Pacitto has served as the President of the local chapters of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) and the American Concrete Institute (ACI).
Mr. Pacitto served on Stoneybrook at Gateway HOA’s first Board of Directors for 2 years immediately following developer turnover. He also served on the Board of Directors for Intelliflex Condominium Association for 3 years. This experience has provided Mr. Pacitto with an in-depth understanding of condo and HOA operations which he uses to better serve Velocity’s association clients.
Mr. Pacitto’s extensive business experience has provided him with a unique understanding of his client’s needs. He is an expert engineer, has a proven track record of performance, and is a natural leader.
Outside of work, Chris enjoys riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle, traveling, skiing, SCUBA diving, and shooting.
