Mr. Felipe Compean, P.E., is the Geotechnical Department Manager of Velocity Engineering Services, LLC. He graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University (FGCU) with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering in 2016. Mr. Compean eagerly joined the Velocity team full-time following graduation in June of 2020 and obtained his Professional Engineer’s license in 2022.

During his last semester in school, Mr. Compean interned at Velocity Engineering Services, gaining hands-on experience in geotechnical engineering and further knowledge in construction and building inspections. During his time with Velocity, Mr. Compean has managed a wide range of projects in all of Velocity’s service areas and currently manages the geotechnical department for the company.

Felipe was born in Fort Myers, Florida and was raised in the local small town of Labelle. He attended Labelle High School and spent his summer breaks getting involved in the construction industry where he received experience in framing and drywall installation.  When not at Velocity managing the geotechnical department, Felipe enjoys spending time playing guitar, working on his personal car projects, and traveling to new places.
