Anthony DePonto

Mr. Anthony DePonto is a Professional Engineer and Vice President of Velocity Engineering Services, LLC. 

Anthony was born in Southwest Florida and raised in the local construction industry.  Growing up, he held numerous jobs throughout many aspects of construction including painting, drywall, flooring, asphalt, and concrete.  After attending North Fort Myers High School, he earned his bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Florida State University (Go Noles!). 

Anthony moved back to Southwest Florida to join Velocity Engineering Services, LLC.  He has excelled in all of Velocity’s service areas and gained experience in many other aspects of engineering and construction.  Anthony has strong attention to detail and takes pride in achieving successful projects for his clients.  He is an integral part of the company’s continued growth and success. 

Anthony enjoys networking with many professional associations and has served as the President of the local chapter of the Construction Specifications Institute (CSI).  When not working, you can typically find Anthony on the golf course, fishing, watching or attending sports events, doing all things Seminoles, working on never-ending home improvement projects, or spending time with friends and family.
